Our secondary schools workshops bring fun, excitement and a passion for drumming to engage and motivate pupils to be the best they can, to build their confidence and self esteem and to involve them in group creations that are dynamic exciting and powerful.
Our workshops serve to breakdown the many barriers that exist between young people and open up new opportunities for communication, listening and self expression within groups. Drumfun workshops aim to create harmony within groups of young people and give them the experience of being part of a succesful team, building confidence in individuals and nurturing a group dynamic that encourages one anothers self expression.
We tailor the sessions to the ability of each group, and offer a range of different workshops from beginner group sessions to more advanced Djembe training for groups of pupils who have chosen percussion as one of their subjects.
We can also supply you with drums and percussion and offer a mentoring programme for schools that want to take it further and start their own African Drumming group.
