Beauly Primary

We loved Beauly Primary School. Each child was fully engaged and enthusiastic throughout the 9 weeks we were with them. Their amazing energy and fun vibe really stood out to us. We played games, sang songs, made up rhythms and of course banged our drums! Everyone involved had great musical and rhythmical fun, and we will miss them a lot!

Keith Primary

We made fortnightly visits to Keith Primary throughout the winter of 2021/22. These Friday morning visits were a great way to round up the week for us. Our musical journey took us through Halloween, Christmas and into the new year as we sang, danced, told stories, and played Drums. We loved our time at Keith and hope we can visit again soon.

Lhanbryde Primary

After working for a full year at Lhanbryde back in 2018/19, it was great to be able to bring the lets drum project to Lhanbryde in 2021/2022 this early years project focused on developing a strong sense of rhythm and using music to promote health and wellbeing. The children were energetic enthusiastic and full of life! We hope to return soon!

Aberchider Primary

Aberchirder were the first of our Let’s Drum projects to start and complete. The spring & summer of 2021 was a difficult time for many with covid restrictions meaning much of normal life was put on hold, but that didn’t stop us coming to Foggie and bringing the joy of group drumming to the Primary 1’s. The children engaged with full enthusiasm as we developed the story and rhythms of Humpty Dumpty & created our own beats on African Drums and boomwhacker percussion tubes.

Rothes Primary

Rothes Primary has always been one of our favourite schools to work with. The staff and children are so welcoming and enthusiastic. This project saw us deliver 3 initial workshop days in the autumn of 2021, and a further 6 days in early 2022. We worked with the Nursery and the Primary 1’s, drumming out stories rhythms and rhymes…. I’d say we’re going to miss them, but I have a sneaky feeling we’ll be back!

Cawdor & Seafield Primary Schools

Our first schools to receive the 2022/23 Lets Drum project were Cawdor and Seafield Primary Schools. We worked with the Primary one’s and two’s as well as the Nursery and culminated both projects with a sharing woth parents and staff. We loved our time at both schools and both were quick to book us in for future events.

Forres Nurseries

We always have a great time at the nurseries in Forres! Thats why we decided to bring our ‘Lets Drum’ project closer to home and deliver musical fun to the locals!
